Two designers who fell in love with specialty coffee in Melbourne — and decided to make it their life.
Mila & Joost
In 2015, Mila Brouwer and Joost Hendricks took a sabbatical in Melbourne. They stumbled into the vibrant specialty coffee scene there — and were sold. Two years later, they opened Daily Grind in Amsterdam.
"We didn't want to just open a coffee bar. We wanted to create a place people love to be — where the coffee is good enough to come back for, but the atmosphere warm enough to stay."
